Our History

At its inception Entrepreneurship Educational Services, Inc (EES) was founded to provide a high-quality entrepreneurial education resource, and was in response to a lack of quality content in the field. Our core demographic was initially the international market – that’s where we initially developed our Student textbooks, Student Workbooks, and Instructor’s Resource Manuals. As we continued to develop our goals shifted to target the US markets in secondary and adult education.

Shortly after the project began we received multiple consulting contracts with Purdue University and Ohio State University. The Purdue contract was funded by the Mellon Foundation and Land O’ Lakes, and funded the Polish training program. The Ohio State University contract was funded by the World Bank, and was a multiple year contract in the southern Kyrghyz Republic.

The projects were created with the assistance of Ohio State University in the Kyrghyz Republic. An adult text titled Small Business Planning and Management for the First-Time Entrepreneur: Student Workbook, and it’s counterpart the Instructor’s Resource Manual were created. These workbooks were Dr. Frederick Muehlhausen (Purdue University), Dr. Howard Doster (Purdue University), and Don Connelly – with Don supplementing much of the material with real world accounts and resources.

The material developed was field-tested and used teach the Small Business Finances (BUS 203) at Ivy Tech Community College. It was used at both the Lafayette and Kokomo locations, and even made its’ way to UAW/Chrysler NTC Satellite Center on behalf of Ivy Tech.

Our Future

Thank you for taking the time to review the Entrepreneurial Recipe Online™ project. With the proper funding we would like to bring the ERO curriculum into the modern era. We believe the materials and concepts presented fill a void present in the post-secondary entrepreneurial education landscape.

The redesigned course will have all the advantages of modern online coursework – while containing the over 100 years of collective experience brought to the table by Dr. Muehlhausen, Dr. Doster, Dr. Hamilton, and Mr. Connelly.

If given the opportunity to bring the Entrepreneurial Recipe Online™ to life we believe it can become an invaluable resource for our young entrepreneurs, and a material they’ll be able to reference for years to come. Our timeline for the project estimates that all work related to project should be completed within 3-6 months of funding.
